How is your business handling COVID-19?
I will be taking sessions like normal however we will do our best to follow the CDC social distancing guidelines. I will be wearing my mask for the entire session and will try to ensure a 6 foot radius at all times during our session. I recommend bringing/wearing a mask to our session. You do not need to wear it while taking photos. Of course my main priority is everyones safety so if you are feeling ill please don't hesitate to reach out and we can always reschedule!
How does your pricing work?
Once we choose your date, you will pay a booking fee of 20%. This is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. I will send you an invoice for the remainder on the day of the session, for weddings please be ready to pay your remaining balance a week before the date of your wedding. Taxes are included in all sessions.
Can we change outfits during our sessions?
Yes, if the session is an hour or longer and if there's a place to change nearby.
Do you have a list of location recommendations?
Yes! Here's the link to all of the locations in the Denver/Boulder areas as well as some locations in the mountains.
One or all of us aren't very comfortable in front of the camera. Any tips?
The goal of my sessions is to have a good time. Just think of me as a new friend that you're meeting. Of course it'll be a little awkward at first but my the end of the session/wedding, I hope you'll have found a new friend. :)
I found a session on pinterest and I want our session just like that, can you do that?
Honestly, no. I'm happy to incorporate poses that you are looking for but every persons style is different including myself. I cannot promise perfection with factors such as weather and lighting.
I got my photos and I don’t like the way I look. Can you fix them?
Although this question is rarely asked as I do my best to make sure you look your best, but it does come up. I can modify them a bit but honestly at the end of the day when you look back at these memories, you'll see love, not imperfections. I send the photos I send to you because I see the beauty in the people that are in them. We all of have imperfections about ourselves that we can scrutinize till the day we die but all these imperfections add up to us. I'd like to say that we're all perfectly imperfect. A collage of wonderful.
Why don’t we get all the pictures you take?
I can take many pictures during a session that you will never see and usually that is because someone is blinking, the exposure was not perfect or someone is making an odd face. I give all the best photos (meaning everyone is looking normal with their eyes open and the exposure is spot on) and do not keep good photos from you.
How do you deliver the galleries?
I deliver your photos 1-2 weeks after your session via a digital gallery. This will be emailed to you with a PIN. You're welcome to forward and share your gallery with anyone you'd like as well as anyone can download or purchase prints from the gallery using the PIN. You can view my print pricing here. You're welcome to get your photos purchased elsewhere however if you purchase them through me you will be helping support a small business!:) Once your gallery has been delivered, It will be live for one month.
